A couple of hours ago all the Set It Off episodes on Ustream disappeared from DJ TLM’s account. For the moment this means that the ustream player on the Set It Off page will have no video playback until the next broadcast on Thursday aug 12.

The audio from the last 3 shows is still available on the Set It Off page.

538 Juize: Set It Off with DJ TLM

The biggest Hip Hop and R&B station in Holland 538 Juize is launching a couple of new shows to add to their weekend programming. One of these new shows is Set It Off wich will be hosted by DJ TLM. The new shows start this weekend and TLM is ready to Set It Off!

You can listen to TLM live every Friday from 18:00 to 20:00 (with a re-run on Saturday from 23:00 to 01:00). You can also watch TLM during his 2 hour mix show through a live video stream on the 538 Juize website!
Since the show is broadcasted live you can interact with TLM through his twitter account. He will be taking requests and answers questions on the air.

TLM will get you in the party mood to start your weekend the right way. Expect 2 hours filled with the hottest Hip Hop and R&B from the US and Holland, all mixed in his signature (turntablism influenced) style!

TLM nominated for a State Award

The nominees for the 2009 State Awards were announced today and TLM has been nominated in the ‘Best DJ’ catagory.

Known for adding a twist of turntablism to his party rocking style, DJ TLM is one of the most respected Hip Hop DJ’s in The Netherlands. Born and raised in Amsterdam, this DJ has been in the game for almost 15 years and has released more than 30 mixtapes, did over 2000 live shows with MC Brainpower and is no rookie when it comes to hosting radio shows. His last show on Royal Radio (Focus Radio) earned him a nomination for ‘Best Urban Radio Show’ at the Dutch MOBO Awards.

TLM cancels his radio show

This week TLM decided to end his partnership with Royal Radio. Although he is still interested in making radio shows, his current schedule was making it hard to combine all his other projects with the radio show.

TLM: “for now, I want to concentrate on my mixtape projects, the theatre tour and production. I will be back on the radio. You can count on that!”

Brainpower Multi Platinum Combined Sales Award!

Last night, during the premiere show of his Mijn Manier theatre tour, MC Brainpower received a multi platinum combined sales award for the total sale of 200,000 records. He is the first Dutch rapper to reach this status.

Brainpower’s greatest hits box set Mijn Manier, consisting of 2CD’s (38 tracks) and 1DVD (2.5 hours of footage), is stores now.

DJ TLM has been Brainpower’s DJ for the last 11 years. The title track Mijn Manier was produced by TLM.

TLM kijkt altijd vooruit wanneer het om innovatieve Dj Gear gaat. Ook dit jaar weer gaat hij op theater tour met MC Brainpower, maar laat dit jaar z’n draaitafels en mixer thuis. Dit jaar is zijn wapen keuze de “Numark NS-7 DJ performance controller” (with Serato Itch).
In zijn laatste video kun je zien hoe hij een aflevering van “Hypnotize” opneemt met de Numark NS-7. TLM: “De NS-7 is de perfekte oplossing voor DJ’s die niet graag reizen met een berg aan apparatuur en kabels”.

Interstate Audio versterkt de Premiere van Brainpower’s theater Tour “Mijn Manier”

Vandaag start de theater tour “Mijn Manier” van MC Brainpower en DJ TLM.
“We hebben al enkele optredens achter de rug, maar dit is de officiele kick off van de tour.” Zegt DJ TLM.

De Tour gaat vandaag officieel van start in de “Goudse Schouwburg” te Gouda. Speciaal voor deze gelegenheid versterkt het Team van Interstate Audio dit evenement met een DJ in de lobby van de schouwburg waar ook de merchandize van de Artiesten wordt verkocht.
Het idee is dat mensen zelf eens kennis kunnen maken met de “digitale draaitafel” van de 20 ste eeuw… de “NS7″ die TLM voor deze tour gebruikt om z’n turntablist skillz aan het publiek te tonen.

Interstate Audio is aanwezig van 19.00 tot 23.00
